We cannot get the Management Reporter Reports navigation list within GP to pull any of the reports from MR. We're on GP2015R2 and thought it would be fairly straight-forward but am wondering if we've missed a step:

We've completed the setup in Reporting Tools Setup.

All users have access to the reports Library & specific report folders in Management Reporter.

We've tried accessing GP via RDP & via Citrix and it hasn't made a difference

We've redeployed all reports with MR setup entered within Reporting Tools Setup

We've made users Generators & Administrators within Management Reporter

I'm sure the setup is correct in GP under reporting tools setup as when we select 'New MR Report' from within the navigation list, Management Reporter Report Designer fires right up.

Thoughts?

Hi Kyle,

I came across this issue too and was wondering if this has anything to do with the connector used by MR 2012.. though I don't see the relation of all this, since the generated reports are stored in the 'main' MR database, not the DataMart DB..

My testing configuration is based on GP2015R2 (upgrade from 2010SP4), and MR 2012 CU15+HF3, using the Legacy connector (no DM).

Any thoughts about how the generated reports could be made 'visible' in GP navigation list ?

PS: Windy, I see that you mention CU13.. .did you managed at some point to have reports display in GP ? The initial blog post my Ryan Sandness was in June 2015, which was shortly before the CU13 release date..

This was working with CU13 and stopped working with CU14 & up.. I installed MR2012 CU15 from scratch, no prior existing installation and it doesn't work. Microsoft needs to fix this issue that has been present for over a year now.

I believe it is a bug with CU14 (not sure about CU15). I see where it works if you are on CU13. I'm on CU14 and the MR reports do not display in the Navigation List either.

Question, did this happen after a migration or upgrade?

Did you have to rebuilt the data mart?
