Hi,
I working on CRM 2011 on-premise. I see in the development environment that sharepoint folders are crated for cases using the title.
However, in the production environment, the folder name uses the case number and not the title.
As I have never worked with CRM 2011, can someone please explain me how this default folder name can be changed?
I looked for plugin and workflow, but I don't find neither of them that could explain why it is different on both environments.

When I open the Case, I see the case number in Live, but the case title in dev.
However, there is no link with the issue.
I found out that the creation of the sharepoint folder in Live is done on the Create step of plugin for email. Procedure is that the user sends a registration mail to the customer, and the sharepoint folder gets created that way.
For a reason not kown to me, this step is disabled on the development environment. Hence we have to create the folders "manually" via the sharepoint component.
Thanks for you answers.
Hi Birgit,
Check under solution if you have any 3rd party solution which is related to SharePoint/ Document management.
From my understanding, the OOB Sharepoint integration uses the entity display name as the folder name. Is it possible there is a workflow or similar process running that is setting your case display name with the number instead of the title?
When you open up a case - what is displayed in the header? Title or Number? Is this the same in Dev and Live?
