Update table No. Series Line Sales from Excel to Navision 2009

Hi,

I am trying to update the table  12145 (No. Series Line Sales) in order to increment all the series number from 2015 to the next years until 2020. I am using Na-vision 2009

I am trying to paste the result from Excel but I receive this error message:

“The last operation carried out on ( often paste) and was ignored because the number of characters ( 10 ) would have exceeded the maximum number allowed for the text box Series Code”

Can you please help me?

It is another way to update this table?

Why is copy/paste not working?

Regards,

Claudiu Petria

    Hi Claudiu,

NAV 2009 and below not support past data from Excel directly. I think your NAV Partner can help you on this.

Codice serie Service Center Nr. riga Data inizio Nr. iniziale Nr. finale Avvisa al nr. Incremento-per nr. Ultimo nr. utilizzato Aperto Ultima data utilizzata
    V-NC+ 046-01 30000 01/01/2015 15NC046+00001 1 15NC046+00016 21/09/2015
    V-NC+ 046-01 40000 01/01/2016 15NC046+00001

For example, only the red values are changing but when i copy from excel the second and third row i receive that error

Paste rows is not valid in NAV2009.

all columns are trying to insert in Series code field

because of that you are getting above error.

You need to write a dataport/xmlport for this.

    Hi,

You need to use a dataport to import the data.
