Item Transactions Showing in Some Windows and Not Others

Hi:

I'm not convinced that this is an Inventory Reconcile utility issue. But, an item's transactions are showing in some inquiry windows but not others.

SmartList and the somewhat new Inventory All-In-One window is showing all of the very few transactions of this one item. But, Item Stock Inquiry is not.

Other than due to possible lack of running Inventory Reconcile, what would be the reason for this?

Hi John,

It sounds almost like the item history option isn't marked. If you don't have it marked, then the Item stock inquiry will not populate because the window pulls from the IV30300 history table. However, other windows in GP and some smartlists pull from the Purchase receipts IV10200/IV10201 and that data is tracked regardless if you are tracking history on the item. So I would start by looking at the option for tracking history on the item card and see if it's unmarked. Go to Cards > Inventory > Item maintenance > Options to view the history tracking options. If that isn't it then I'd need to know specific windows or SmartList you are using to see what I can figure out.
