It means that the inventory dimension Site must have a value filled in.

Hi JH,

Just go to the Intercompany Sales Order and fulfill the Site (maybe also warehouse) in Line detail > Product tab

The "Site" is on the Sales Order Line, I believe we get this error when D365 tries to create the corresponding Purchase Order in the other entity (company). It is kicking back this error.

The header of this message refers to the other company.

Hi JH,

This error caused by missing Default site setting up in the intercompany.

To resolve your problem, you should setup Default sites for your items/product when auto creating lines in the Intercompany sales orders/Intercompany purchase orders.

In the Intercompany: go to Product information management > Released products > select the inter product > go to Manager inventory menu > Order settings action > Default order settings

- If your Intercompany purchase orders error > you should setup at least one Default Site in Purchase order tab.

- If your Intercompany Sales orders error > you should setup at least one Default Site in Sales order tab.

Noted that do nothing in Original company.
