I'm trying to import the UK XBRL schemas in a zip file 'UK-IFRS-2009-09-01-dated-2010-12-31' that I got off the website http://www2.xbrl.org/uk/Taxonomies/ into AX2012. I try loading the schema file uk-ifrs-main-2009-09-01.xsd contained in this Zip file by clicking on 'Import XBRL Taxonomies' but I get an error message 'File uk-ifrs-full-2009-09-01.xsd cannot be loaded.' I thought that if I load this file, it would pull in all the required information from the remaining files in the zip file.
My question is what is the process for loading the UK IFRS XBRL templates into AX 2012 (or any XBRL taxonomies) and where can I get these files. The manuals and TechNet just says
1. Click General ledger > Setup > Posting > XBRL taxonomy.
2. To import an XBRL taxonomy file, click the Import XBRL taxonomy button.
Do I have to load all the files that are in the zip file using the 'Import Schema file' and 'Import Linkbased file'?
Any help would be much appreciated.
