Hello,
 
May i know how to use GP and management reporter in reconciling the  AR sub-ledger with the General ledger? 
We have an income statement and balance sheet within the management reporter, and I have good knowledge of the functionality of GP, but I think I do not understand concept so any insight , advise or videos is very much appreciated

    Management Reporter is GL only.  It does not report on any of the subsidiary ledgers (like AR).

    If you are out of balance between the GL control account(s) and the AR subsidiary, the Microsoft Dynamics GP > Tools > Routines > Financial > Reconcile to GL tool is a great place to start.

    May i know what process this tool exactly do ? and do I need to have a backup from the DB before I use it?
    I usually see our controller using the management reporter along with some other tools from GP but I never asked ( don't want to sound like a rookie even though I am lol )
