Hi,
What happens when we change the Prodution Order qty during RAF
What is the impact
Hi Sriram,
If you increase the quantity so it is greater than the started quantity, you will receive more into stock with a lower production cost (assuming you consumed materials to make the started quantity). If you reduce the quantity and mark end job, you will receive less in stock at a higher cost. Unless you are using standard cost, when variances will be generated.
Regards
Dolores
As mentioned by Dolores, you are able to report as finished a higher quantity. Based on the scenario, this can be common. Sometimes, you expect some bad quantities. If the good exceeds the expectations, you have a higher RAF quantity. Also, in some scenarios the ingredients should be fully consumed. In that case, you might also have an over-production, but then you also adjust the BOM consumption itself.
At the end, it is all determining the cost price.
