Balance Sheet in AX 2012 R2

Hello everyone,

I am looking for a little help on this one. We are in the middle of our data migration into AX 2012 R2 and our CPA and myself have been beating our heads against the wall looking for a simple Balance Sheet report. You would thing a standard financial report such as a Balance Sheet should be standard in all accounting software but appears AX doesn't have one.

So I have looked around and couldn't find a standard report and also have gone through the trying to make a Financial Statement (Traditional) and that isn't working out correctly either.

Anyone have any suggestion on how we can get a Balance Sheet Report?

    Hello Sujit,

Would it be possible that you open a new thread and provide some additional information on your problem with the MR?

    Many thanks and best regards,

    Ludwig

    Hi Team,

I'm facing problems with MR. We have differences on some accounts that haven't have those previously. Where can we identify.

Thanks for your help on this. I was able to find the Balance Sheet Report in MR but unfortunately now. MR doesn't seem to be working correctly and our ISV forgot to tell me this. Well at least I know where it is at now.

I suggest you should consider Management reporter for creating these kind of report

Management reporter 2012 is having  Balance Sheet Example Template, which you can configure as per your requirement.

1.Open Management Reporter 2012 Report Designer.

    2.Open Company > Companies

3.Click on Row Definitions on the Navigation Pane.

4.Open the Row Definition, titled Balance Sheet.

Please verify if you need more information.

    Hi,

The reporting tool used for financial reports is called Management Reporter. It comes with AX and is very powerful to generate any types of financial reports.

You could use also the old version of financial statement (traditional) as you mention but keep in mind that this might not be the long term solution for financial reporting in AX.

The report you can get out of AX is the trial balance and you can download in Excel.

    Thanks,

    Caroline.
