How to print product property in a quote in D365 sales?

Hi everyone,

I’m having an issue with printing quotes in D365 sales. When I try to create a quote using word template, I can't include the quote property of the product in quote detail. How can I drag the quote detail property on the quote before printing it?

Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Hi,

When you download the Word template, select /Quote Product (qutoe_details)/ in the 1:N Relationship row.

Follow the instructions in this official document.

Use Word templates to create standardized documents - Power Platform | Microsoft Learn

You can add fields from Quote Product that map to corresponding fields on the entity.

The final result is shown below.

How to print product property in a quote in D365 sales?

Thanks for your help, but I'm specifically looking for the "Product Properties" which predefined in the product entity then selected in quote entity. In the image the word template only get data from the quote_detail entity.

Is there a way to add or access those specific properties within the downloaded template?

Hi,

Unfortunately, that's not possible.

In the Download Word Templates interface, you need to get the records of related entities through relationships.

However, the Product Properties in /Quote Product/ entity is a component and does not belong to an entity.

Therefore, it is impossible to get the Product Properties in the /Quote Product/ entity.

i have the same need, is something changed now? I don't see the purpose of setting up properties if i cannot print them :(
