Dynamics CRM 2013 List Component using CRM 2011 UI

I just installed and activated the CRM 2013 List Component ** for SharePoint 2013 ** onto a SP2013 site collection, and hooked it up to the CRM 2013 instance. Everything works nicely, but there is one problem. The associated view for looking up documents for a certain account in CRM is using the UI of CRM 2011. It should use the UI of CRM 2013 (at least, that is the purpose of the 2013 List Component). See the screenshot below.

I ran the PowerShell script to enable HTC files on the SharePoint server and it ran without errors (after a few tries). However, it still showed the old UI. I just tried deactivating, removing, re-adding and re-activating, but it still didn't change. What do I need to do to make it use the CRM 2013 UI?

    Hi,

Did you have the component list for crm2011 installed before or is this a first time installation where you only installed the 2013 component list?

The looks of the 2011 and 2013 component list  didn't change much if compared with the looks of the new server based integration:

"Differences between List Component and Server-to-Server

Once S2S integration is enabled you'll see a similar view to the list component but it looks far more CRM2013 like. Apart from a slicker interface there are a few other differences:"

Aha. So in order for it to look CRM2013y, S2S has to be installed. This client only has on-premise so I guess we are stuck with the original look. This is the first list component they've ever had for this site collection.

No, not available for 2013 on premises.

The component list pretty much shows the SharePoint interface through an iframe. Possibly you can change a few elements if you edit the SharePoint. But won't be like S2S.
