Hello,

If I've multiple exchange rates types setup in D365.

How do we know (or where is it configured) which one is used for Retail transactions, call centre orders, etc?

Can we configure a different exchange rate types for Retail store transactions vs call centre orders vs Purchase orders?

On some research and some help from MS, I can confirm-

1. The exchange rate type for Retail store transaction is configured -

2. For all other function, it's taken from the Ledger setup

Hi SnehaS,

Normally the exchange rate is taken from the transaction currency. The call center is a retail channel that enables new sales order entry, according to your screenshot description, it is recommended to use the retail exchange rate type. These rate types are used at other places as well other than in Ledger Parameters.
