Automatically import the users from "outside" of D365

Hello,

Is it possible to import and assign Sys Admin role to an user with SQL script or similar?

We have an enviornment which is updated sometimes with Golden Config data. In golden config we do not have users that we are using for automatic testing.

We use 3rd party tool for automatic tests where we can't define any "Person related" user, but just a test user which will not be in any other GC, Prod, etc enviornemnt.

So, after the golden DB is transfered to this test environment we should somehow create / import the test user in the system.

Any suggestions?

    You have several ways to do that :

    1. SQL Script in sandbox environment.

    2. OData using Postman (  my personal choice most of the times )

    Andre posted a nice article to manage security using Data Management, for example by importing from Excel.

    dynamicspedia.com/.../

    You can access the same data entity using odata by REST Operation.
