How can I get a hold of the backend data?

Hi everyone...

We're on CRM Online 2011 RU12. We want our data, so we can check it against the original import that was run. Does anyone know what the procedure for grabbing the entire sql database is from online deployments?

The reason for this is we believe, that the thing causing the majority of crashes over our system is bad data. We think our original goldmine database was probably in Western Iso, and as Dynamics uses UTF-8 and the conversion process may have effectively put 'bad data' in the sql database, which is causing the numerous crashes the outlook plugin experiences.

We think it's something to do with this, because people with no contacts assigned to them/contacts created since installation dynamics  have an extremely stable system, but the people with more Goldmine data that they're relying on...has a damn sight more crashes.

    1. Dial 877-CRM Choice ( 877-276-2464) and requests for a backup of their org

    2. Billing will verify credentials and checks to see if it’s a migration from Online to on-prem (closing out their online subscription) or if it’s a test / dummy backup.

    3. They initiate the support case that comes to the online team

    4. Online team takes a backup, puts the files in a remote location

    5. Support engineer checks the backup against the org name—

    6. The DB is put on a FTP site for download

    Thanks,

    Mohammad
