Quick question about the compatibility between MS SQL Server 2017 and Dynamics RMS. Are they compatible?
Is there anyone out there currently using this combination? If you are, what version of RMS are you running along with Server 2017?

We had been running 2008r2. We built a new server and so did not go the "upgrade" route. We started over, though of course the database had to be attached to 2017. The only issue I remember we ran into was with our Cayan Genius machine running Retail Realm addin. Because you must disallow TLS 1.0 connections as a client on the server, we can't run either RMS POS or Manager on the server. It only runs on client machines.
Thanks Nathan, appreciate the reply. What version did you upgrade from? One of our clients is currently SQL Server 2008r2 and wants to upgrade to 2017, have you heard of any potential issues with this transfer?
We are running MS SQL Server 2017 on a Windows 10 server with Windows 10 POS lanes. Dynamics RMS is version 2.0.2000.
