Assigning List View to Procurement Screen Buttons?

Posted on by Microsoft Employee

Hello,

In GP2015 R2 there are 4 big blue buttons on the procurement screen which I have placed onto the home screen of our end users.  Some of these buttons have a customized list view associated to them by default (see screenshot 1 for example).  When i click on the "ready for purchase" button it is only using the default list view "Purchasing Requisition Transactions" which does not have the filters on it that I would expect (see screenshot 2).  For this button to work as I would expect based on the name of the button I would like to have it filtered automatically for end users so that it only shows the requisitions in workflow status = complete.

With this in mind, I have created a customized list view with custom filters and columns that I would like to assign to that button so that it loads the custom view for anyone who clicks that button.  Is this possible?

Thanks,

Andrew

    Hello Burg,

I really your concept. I have worked with List Views/Navigation Lists for other purposes though. I would be glad to compare notes with you. Let me ask, have you managed to link the button to the default list view ? If so, how. I have worked with custom views/lists - but not the linking bit.
