OurLeadGen team plans to use the CRM way more than they currently do. We implemented a new field on the contact form where you can choose if this contact can be contacted by LeadGen or not (the field is called “Do not allow LeadGen emails”). If the field is set to “yes” then this should have an effect on the customer journey (as the contact could still receive marketing mails).
Is there an option to integrate that feature in the marketing emails? A LeadGen email is on our case a "cold email" and we would prefer to differentiate between newsletters/nurturing campaigns and the cold leadGen emails.

As custom field is created for blocking "cold" emails from this team, what does the lead gen email or cold email mean?
Would you please use existing concepts to explain these terms?
