Good day,
I am trying to set up different workflows but I am not winning.
My company does not really offer courses to their employee, they can once in a while buy udemy courses for employees to learn about new skills or something employees will be working on. In a content like that which workflow is more appropriate: The courses one or the course registration? Anyway, I chose the courses.
Also, when it comes to the assignment, we have different departments so it will be the manager of that specific department that will give approval to his/her employee. How do I work on that approval and assignement part?
Same thing for the approval. If I work under the IT department then only the IT manager should approve the skills I will add under my ESS.
Can someone please help?
Hello,
I would think that course registration would be more suitable but it's up to you and the context of your organization.
Regarding your second question, you can create a different hierarchy that is not for the line manager line manager, but rather the manager of the department and can be attached to the workflow you are using.
Below are some relevant articles that might help you in creating a new additional hierarchy and attach it to the workflow.
