BC19 App Installation - Missing Fields

Posted on by 24

Hello Everyone,

I am using BC19 OnPrem version on my Local computer where SQL Server, Web Client and Visual Studio Code are installed.

I have installed one Add-on App from Partner.

When I open its Pages then it does not show some fields like "Customer No." and so, cannot proceed to use and test the app. I was able to see missing fields 1 Time and then, it does not show when I open page second time.

Does anyone face the same problem?

Okay, can you see this field in Page Inspection?

You can display it with Design.
Personalize can only display the fields added to the Page, not those on the Table. Design can display all the fields on the Table, but it will be saved as an Extension.
If it still does not work, it is recommended to work with a partner to solve this problem.

    Hope this will help.

    Thanks.

I think you should contact the partner that made this add-on to get them to look at this issue.

    Thank you for your reply.

Yes, I have latest partner license in database having Add-On Object Range. The issue is related to Fields and not tables.

I can open page and tables for Add-On App. But, Some fields are not visible like Customer No.

When I try to personalize page then sometime I see those fields to add in Field List but most of time it does not show.

Also, Customer No. field has visibility property set and it is (NOT ISSAAS). So, OnPrem version must show it.

I have performed refresh installation in BC19 database and everything works well.

Here, the issue is Demo License and it is in use since Two months. But, it is not expired and has expiry 12/31/2022.

I think issue is related to license but I did not find it yet. I have similar scenario but it is onprem version.

Hi, It looks like you don't have permission for this app.

Because you are using the On-Premises version, first you have to make sure that the Object ID range in your License contains the ID in your Partner's app.

    For example, table 60000~60500

If there is no problem with your license, the second is to confirm whether the permission set of the app is included in the user.

For example, You can use the Extension Name to see which app this permission set belongs to.
