What is the maximum limit for Alphanumeric Number Sequence ?

1. I want to create a number sequence for: eg Comapny-Module-&&&&&######

After using certain range  it is showing an error as shown below.

Can I know what is the limit and advantages of Alphabets in number sequence, where only numbers can be used instead of them ?

2) Why AX is taking Largest value as 999999999 when it can accept upto 2147483647 ?

    Hi AXYZ,

    You can use numbers and letters in the sequence at the same time, and the value will increase normally according to the number. Regarding the error, please check if there is any setting error.

    As for the second question, you can manually change the largest field value to 2147483647.

    Hi AXYZ,

    The length of a number sequence is limited to the extended data type where it is linked. Some data types accept 10, other identification fields will accept 20 characters. The sales ID numbers do allow for 20 characters. In my opinion, you do have a very large prefix. Probably, you have to shorten it.
