Add SSRS report in GP

Hello,

I have created the customized report using SSRS. I am new to SSRS. Now i want to add that report in GP my reports section.
Following are my questions regarding it.

1. Can Ii use .rdl file directly to add report or need to create some other file?

2. How to add a file in GP and make report visible to the user?

3. I working on the development server so while adding a report on the production server; what things need to change? Or how to add report on production server?

Hi Swani,

Here are the answers to your questions.

1. You can use the .RDL file, but there is a specific process for this. On the SSRS website, you will have a hierarchy with company and then module folders. The report must reside in the module level folder to be available within GP. If a metric or KPI, the .RDL file must exist in the corresponding "Metrics and KPIs" folder for each module. Once in the proper location, relaunch GP.

3. The datasources the report uses will need to be altered. These will be pointing to the development server and will need to be redirected to production.
