AUDIT HISTORY

Auditing is enabled in my CRM 2011 on-premise environment.  When I check the audit history in the contact entity I keep seeing a message that 'Auditing has been stopped and restarted.  The new values that have been changed during this period cannot be identified or recorded.'  Not sure why this happeneing as the audit was never disabled?  Has anyone run into this issue before?

you can turn auditing off/on on an entity level as well, was auditing for contact turned off?

There are lots of warnings in the documentation about turning it off and on will cause erratic behavior (although I have never actually seen those messages myself)

I don't think there is anyway to tell though
