In standard BC, item dimensions do not flow from any document to PO, but if the item is attached to any document, our client wants to flow the item dimensions to PO as well.
Suggestions would be appreciated and helpful!

This sounds a bit difficult because there may be more than one Item, and if there are multiple Items with attachments, do they all update to the PO?
In Business Central 2022 wave 1 (BC20), there is a new feature: Set default dimensions on locations.
Can the dimension of Location be used instead?

If you enter an item number on a PO and there are dimensions attached to the item, those items flow to the PO.
Maybe I'm missing something when you state "dimensions do not flow from any document to PO" Can you elaborate?

Scenario is -
We have PO with item X and it's dimension Y
PO header has dimension Z
In PI, I want the same Item X it's dimension Y
along with PO header dimension Z
This should work out of the box. What is not working for you?
Hi, I agree with Kim, this appears to be a standard feature and does not update Dimensions.
