SL 65 SP2 Workstation Installation

Hi All,

I'm installing workstation on SL 65 SP 2. I have a problem when I login as non Administrator user in client's computer. For the first time, when I opened the customized screen, the screen was good, but the problem came when I opened it for the second time. I have message "Cannot find project or library", and there's a cursor to "trim" function. It seems problem on trim function. I have already deleted the swimapi.kpr on APC folder, and the screen was good again, but problem above came again in the second time I opened the customized screen.

This problem was happened on all customized screens and in non administrator local computer (no problem with Solomon's user login). I have tested it on 3 local computer and gave me the same result. I also have already given the full trust to solomon and WINNT folder.

Did I miss something?

Hi marsha,

Actually my client upgraded the SL from 6.0 to 6.5 SP 2 and the problem only came from 6.5 SP 2. By the way, I've finally found the answer, it's SL bugs, there's a hotfix in partner source. Thank you for replying me :)

Can the Solomon sysadmin open the screen as a non-administrator user?

What is the nature of the customization? Is it VBTools? Does it refer to some DLLs? Is it an Object Model customization? Are you sure that the customization is working fine? Does it read from some other folder that you have not considered?
