Warning while mapping fields in data management export or import projects

Hi,

Greetings !!!

I am using D365 10.0.16 version environments with different product and build versions.

In data mangement, when I import or export any entity (ex. customers V3) I am adding new field in mapping details tab through view map option. while saving I am getting warning messages like 

  1. Field 'Field type' must be filled in.
  2. Field 'Field name' must be filled in.

this issue occurs in version

but the above warning messages are not  showing in below version

whether this issue is standard bug or is there any solution to overcome this issue.

    It might be related to the next known issue:

    Issue 547490 - Resolved

    Adding a field to any entity mapping, inside a data project, results in warnings

    Product and version: Finance and Operations

    KB number: 4603144

    PROBLEM

    Trying to edit the mapping of any entity, through a data job, and add a field to the map results in warnings and the user is locked in the mapping details page, until the field is deleted or source mapping is generated.

    DESCRIPTION OF CHANGE

    The form had been broken by an attempt to add a new form data source so that the column order could be set in export files.  The errors seen were write validation messages from the additional table.  That change to modify the form was reverted for PU 42, PU 41, PU 40 and PU 39.

    Thanks for pointing out the relevant KB. Do you know when this fix will be available to be applied. Currently we are using version PU40

    when I search for the article from quality update and upcoming service update on the environment details page I wasn't able to find it.

    I would suggest to contact Microsoft Support for the availability of this KB fix.
