Cannot create Quotation since 10.0.45 upgrade

Good morning D365 admins !

I'm facing a potentially crippling issue with our Finance & Operations system.
Our UAT environment was upgraded from version 10.0.43 to 10.0.45 on Friday, September 26th. We then began a testing phase in preparation for upgrading our Production environment next Friday. So far, the only major issue we've encountered is a failure in the Quotation creation process.

I opened a Microsoft Support case, but we're on a tight schedule so I'm trying to find as many help as possible.

Scenario:
I create a new quotation by navigating to Sales and Marketing > Sales Quotations > All Quotations.
I select an account type, enter a prospect or customer number, and click OK.
However, the quotation fails to be created, and I receive the following error message:

Unable to write data to entity quotes.Writes to SalesQuotationHeaderD365SalesEntity failed with error message Request failed with status code BadRequest and CDS error code : 0x80040265 response message: Feature "Integrate Sales Quotation lifecycle with Dynamics 365 Sales" is not enabled, but feature mappings "Dynamics 365 Sales quotation header (quotes)" or "Dynamics 365 Sales quotation lines (quotedetails)" is running. This setup is not supported. Contact your system administrator..For information on troubleshooting see https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=2244045. The error message gives a clear sequence, the system expects the feature to be active because the mappings are enabled.
My priority was to align the feature status with the mappings.

I checked the Feature Management workspace, but the feature doesn't appear in the list. It’s likely no longer a standalone feature and has been fully integrated into the core of Finance & Operations.
I was able to locate it on our Production environment (version 10.0.43), and found an interesting note in the description:
“This feature adds a parameter to the 'Accounts receivable parameters' page, which lets you turn the functionality on or off.”
Back in the UAT environment, I found the ‘Integrate quotation lifecycles’ parameter. However, whether it's activated or not, quotation creation still fails.

I'm running in a circle about this problem and would gladly take any advice or observation.

This issue has been resolved in Dual Write Supply Chain Extended Solution version 2.3.4.551 and later. Please update to the latest version from Power Platform Admin Centre to apply the fix.

Dual Write Supply Chain Extended Solution has been updated to version 2.3.4.551.

Today, the following apps are up to date :

Dual-write Application Core Solutions
Dual-write application orchestration solution
Dual-write core solution
Dual Write Finance and Extended Solutions
Dual-write Party and Global Address Book Solutions
Dual Write Supply Chain Extended Solution

I did stop/start the Dual-Write mappings.

Unfortunately, we still get the same error.

We updated to Dual Write Supply Chain Extended Solution version 2.3.4.551, but the problem persists. It doesn't detect that the quote lifecycle is active.
Is there anything else that can be done?

We have the same issue and we've followed the latest updates. This is still a problem. The feature just simply isn't showing up in Feature Management.

Anyone get this working? I am having the same issue as well since Wednesday. I have validated against suggested answer and we are running the most current SCM solution.

Check mappings in dual-write https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/fin-ops-core/fin-ops/data-entities/prospects-in-prospect-to-cash-enable

in my case it was not running

Dynamics 365 Sales feature parameters (msdyn_supplychainfeaturestates)

but running old mapping

Dynamics 365 Sales feature management states (msdyn_supplychainfeaturestates)

msdyn_supplychainfeaturestates - this table should contain flag "Integrate Sales Quotation lifecycle with Dynamics 365 Sales"

Hi everyone

I'm sharing the decision made with the client.

Since Microsoft didn't provide a resolution, the decision was made not to use the quote lifecycle.

We disabled synchronization for the four quote tables and only left the Sales Orders and Sales Lines tables enabled.

So, the quotes aren't actually created in Finance; they're not created automatically in Finance until they become orders from the CRM.

It depends on your processes, but it's an option.

Hello guys,

Disabling the quote Lifecycle was our initial plan to avoid a delay for the upgrade.

I tried the solution provided by OlekM. Indeed, we were still using the old mapping, I activated the new one instead but the quotes problem persisted after that.

I cannot explain why, but we've been able to solve the situation by creating a quotation from CRM to F&O.
Somehow, this unlocked the flow from F&O to CRM.

I doubt any of my previous actions had an impact because the test has been done on a different legal entity.

Hi all

I had the exact same issue and was able to resolve it by performing an Inital Sync on the Dynamics 365 Sales feature parameters (msdyn_supplychainfeaturestates) maps with Finance and Operations as Master (not the Dynamics 365 Sales feature management states (msdyn_supplychainfeaturestates).
