Search/Advanced find is not working with Virtual entity

I have created a Virtual Entity using a Custom Data Provider. With Advanced Find/ Quick Search on the view, it is not filtering virtual entity data. Please see the below screenshot

Is there any way to achieve this using the retrieve multiple plugin which we use for the virtual entity?

Can anyone please help me to resolve this?

Thank You.

    Hello,

If my reply (or replies) answers your question take a minute and verify the answer. You can do it by clicking "Yes" at the top of the reply (or replies) under the label "Does this answer your question?"

Thanks for the response, but how can I read the value of the view's search field which is OOB.

Can you help me with the test code snippet for this?

sorry to ask this naive question but have never tried reading OOB search field values of views from the context.

So the answer is super simple! Just convert your input query (from the context) to the query to the target environment. Done!

    Good luck.

    Hello,

It's a bit hard to give suggestions about code without the code available. Can you share the code you use in RetrieveMultiple step?
