I have raised an MS support request however wanted to ask in the community if anyone else has experienced a sudden change in KB search behaviour - I am seeing this both in production and sandbox suddenly within the last 1-2 days and have made no changes to my environment.
We are now seeing that the search is mainly returning no results for many articles unless we prefix the search with a wildcard (*)
e.g. searching for Admin returns no results but *Admin does.
This issue impacts mostly the automatic search on the case form (tied to case title) as there is no way to automatically append a * to the search results so many times users are now not seeing any articles anymore even though they exist and can be found by appending a * to the automatic search. This happens on the standalone search as well with identical behaviour, e.g. searching a simple keyword returns no results unless a wildcard is added.
