Power automate to loop through GL entries to identify new combinations

Hi
I am hoping to build a power automate flow in BC that will loop through the GL entries on a monthly basis to identify any new combinations of GL account, Dimension1, Dimension2 that have been posted. The aim will be to have these combinations recorded in a table in either sharepoint or a custom table. We'll then be using this to update some financial reports.
If I use the list records action in the flow, will the flow not be too slow in retrieving the records first (potentially up to 10,000 records a month)? After that we'll want to filter out those that are already in the combination table.
Is there a more efficient way to do this?
I have the same question (0)

    Hi,

Why you want to use Power automate. Dimension correction should be able solve your problem and also it has option schedule job queue to run in background

    Thanks

Unique combination anyway you can figure out from Dimension Set ID?
    Is this not helping?

I also need to include the gl account number; the dimension set id on its own is insufficient. The aim is to automatically update a financial report that has combination of Gl account numbers and the 2 dimensions.
Not too sure where the other person who replied about dimension corrections is coming from.

Hi, I personally don't recommend using Power Automate either.
Create a code unit to review your data monthly and then save it to SharePoint using the Graph API. This is much more efficient.
Hope the following can give you some hints.

    Thanks.

You don’t need to loop thousands of records in Power Automate. In Business Central you can handle this more efficiently with Dimension Correction and a simple report/query that lists new G/L + Dimension combinations. That way you avoid the performance hit, keep everything in BC, and still feed the results to SharePoint/Power BI if needed.
