Hi Reem, you're right, it would be a very useful feature to be able to create a new role / globally change a role (ie: add a quick link to a role and everyone with this role has the change the next time they refresh).
To be honest I wasn't sure of the answer when I saw your post first. I had to get into GP and have a search to make sure this functionality wasn't available. I certainly couldn't find it, and I couldn't find anything remotely related to it in the manuals.
One for the suggestion box I think!

Thanks Ian, for your reply. It is very unfortunate that this option is not there. An administrator would like to setup the Quickl Links to a role, in which case the user does not have to do this himself.

Hi, Homepage roles are preset. Don't think you can add quicklinks / reminders based on a Role. These are based on a User ID.
To change your homepage role, log in to GP and click on the 'Customise This Page' link at the top of your homepage. From this choose 'Change Role'. Select your industry, and select a role that suits you. Changes take immediate effect. Editing the default settings for this role can be done for each individual by selecting items in each area and removing them / adding new ones.
Stay up to date on forum activity by subscribing. You can also customize your in-app and email Notification settings across all subscriptions.
