Management Reporter for AX 2012

Hi everyone,

I've installed Management Reporter for my client  18 months ago, when i installed Dynamics AX 2012, but he never used it. Now he wants to use it for some standard reports but we don't have access to the product anymore. When I open it, it says that I must enter a valid licence key. I did my researches and they say that Management reporter uses the same licence of Dynamics AX and that this is only a bug from Microsoft. They told me to delete the key from Management report licence table and that's what I did.. And now management reporter works but I can't do anything on it, I can't even add a company and if I don't, It seems like I can't go further. Please help me!!

PS: I have all the rights on Management reporter, I am an administrator.

    The license was synched with AX, starting from CU13 version of MR.

    So

    • Either update your MR to cu13

    • OR

    • Provide a license key.

      Choice is yours. Better would be if you update your MR, so it will also include bug fixes.

    you are welcome.

    in addition after installation of new MR, make sure to read next article about New MR Security, else you might be struggling how it will synch AX security roles to MR Database.

    terrychoo.com/management-reporter-security

    first user having role of security administrator will be treated as admin of MR. so be careful with that.
