Sales order fulfilment of intercompany sales order (derived) from direct delivery sales order

Could be an enhancement that can be logged with Microsoft:

A customer sales order with order line flagged as direct delivery will create two derived intercompany (IC ) transactions; a purchase order (IC vendor) and IC sales order (originating company as the customer). With credit check (credit and collection) on sales order confirmation, the originating sales order will be on HOLD in the originating company, thus preventing order fulfilment. However, the fulfilment of IC sales order will still proceed (reservation, completion of picking route and posting delivery note) when executed by process owner. Posting of sales invoice will proceed in IC company but will halt in originating company due to order HOLD.

Can sales order HOLD in originating company extend to IC company? This will prevent the order fulfilment due to HOLD in IC company.
What is the right process to complete the order in originating company? At the moment the order is manually fulfilled all through invoicing.
