Test environment - DC and ADFS on same server?

I'm setting up a new test environment in Hyper-V to learn CRM15.  I have a limited number of MS licenses for Server 2012 and SQL 2014.  Should ADFS be on a seperate server from the DC or can I put them on the same box?

    Hello phoeneous,

I would suggest to keep the ADFS on DC that is good option. This helps to administer the servers and it doesn't have any issue.

Please visit the link http://blogs.technet.com/b/askpfeplat/archive/2013/07/22/faq-on-adfs-part-1.aspx on ADFS FQA.
