Sales Accelerator Sequence Settings

Hi all,

Per the title, I would like to know if the following is possible:

  1. When a scheduled email is pending for a prospect that is connected to a sequence, is there a way to edit it?

  2. Can I choose which automated email (using email templates) in a sequence include my signature, vs. which don't?

  3. Is there a way to thread emails in a sequence?

  4. Can I choose a certain step to enter a contact into a sequence? i.E. if I wanted to start them at step 5 out of 12?
(NB: Please don't suggest to enter them from Step 1 and delete all activity until I reach desired step. That's not at all efficient in a high volume sales environment...)

Thanks

    Hi,

    Please find the answers below:-

    1. Can I edit a pending scheduled email for a prospect in a sequence?
Unfortunately, you cannot directly edit a pending email in a sequence once it's scheduled. Once an email is scheduled as part of a sequence, it's typically locked in place. However, you could pause the sequence or manually modify the steps of the sequence if needed, but editing the exact email that's already scheduled might not be possible.

    2. Can I choose which emails in a sequence use my signature?
Yes, you can control which emails in a sequence include your signature. When setting up an email template for a sequence, you can choose whether or not the email template has the signature included. If the signature is not part of the template, you'll need to manually add it when you set up the email or adjust the template to include it.

    3. Is there a way to thread emails in a sequence?
As of now, D365 CRM does not fully support email threading in sequences in the way that traditional email platforms (like Gmail) do. Each email in a sequence is typically sent as a separate message rather than being grouped into a thread. The sequence doesn't automatically group responses with the original email.

    4. Can I choose a specific step to start a contact at in a sequence?
Yes, you can start a contact at a specific step in a sequence in D365 CRM. When you add a contact to a sequence, you can manually select the step where you want to start them (e.g., Step 5 out of 12). This is a much more efficient way to handle high-volume cases. You won’t need to start from Step 1 and delete the activity. You can simply set them to begin from the step that fits your needs.

    Hope this helps

    Thanks!
