Hello everyone,
I developed a form in Dynamics AX 2012. This form has 11 financial dimension fields, and I am using lookup to select Department, Division, and Employee.
My goal is: when I click a button, I want to create a dimension based on the selected 3 dimension values and the MainAccount of the row, and then assign this dimension to the LedgerDimension field on a journal line.
I have successfully created the journal, but I am struggling with how to correctly create the dimension and assign it to the journal line.
My question: How can I create a dimension RecId using these 3 dimensions and MainAccount, and assign it to the LedgerDimension of a journal line?
Has anyone done a similar development before or can share a sample X++ code?
