Chart Import Error: not valid XML or does not conform to the chart schema

I'm following instructions found here, Modifying Multi-Series Dynamics CRM Charts to Use a Single Axis - CRM Software Blog | Dynamics 365 to remove the secondary axis for a multi-series chart.

I've exported the chart, opened it in Notepad, removed the yAxisType, saved it over the exported XML file, but when I try to import it again, I receive this error:

The specified XML file "Opps--YTD.xml" is either not valid XML or does not conform to the chart schema.

Hi AdmWombat,

I followed the blog you provided, and I can import it successfully.

Original chart:

Delete the YAxisType property and import chart:

It seems that your chart xml is invalid. Please try to export it and only delete the YAxisType property to try again.

Exact same error. Tried it in Chrome as well as Edge. Also tried to Export and Import with no changes, but I get the same error.

I think I have it working now. I was trying to upload in the form view rather than in advanced settings. It worked in advanced settings.

It's not showing in the list view drop down for charts, but I am able to add the new version to a dashboard.
