Hello Experts,

I need your expert opinion on setting up Sales commission earned on Sale of Utility cards such as Amazon, Netflix, Air time cards .etc

I have created an service item against each Utility card - Amazon, Netflix these cards will be sold at POS system at a pre-defined price.

for sale of those card company will get a fixed percentage as sales commission which needs to be configured in the system

i am using AX 2012 R3 CU13

i am able to achieve the expected solution using sales commission functionality but i am not sure whether any other better option is available or not.

Revenue accounts mapped at Sales Commission offset account (Credit) / Customer Balance mapped at Sales Commission account (Debit)

Hi erpgeek01,

I believe the standard Out of the box commission functionality cover the main business process of commission calculation based on Sales representative commission share % and you can setup commission by customer group, sales group. Like in your case you can create commission customer group for Amazon/Netflix etc.

Specially the commission calculation screen gives many option to calculation the commission based on Item/Customer group with different basis like on Revenue or on Margin.
