Please, can we display the Note Text for any item record (for SOP documents in note Item) on a standard GP report (Report writer)? If so how?. The note is from the sales item detail window in comments field.

I'm not sure if you still need help on this one but below should help you out. In general you can add notes onto reports, the trick is knowing which table your linking from.
1) Find the table you will be linking from to the notes table. (This can be master records like vendors, customers, accounts, etc or it can be record level notes on documents.)
2) In Report Writer click on Tables>Tables.
3) Select the needed table.
4) Click Relationships.
5) Click New.
6) Press the elipses and add the Record Notes Master table.
7) Setup the key as needed. (This varies depending on your from table).
