Dynamics AX 2012 R3 Installation Prerequisites

I am currently attempting to set up an installation for Dynamics AX 2012 R3. Using the prerequisite checker tool I have successfully met all the requirements except for Project Server. Project Server 2013 SP1 is installed, but it is not being detected. I have also tried installing Project Server 2013 (no service pack) to no avail. They are installed using enterprise keys.

Currently Installed:

Microsoft Office 2013 Professional Plus SP1
Visual Studio 2010 Ultimate
SQL Server 2014 Standard
SharePoint Server 2013 SP1 (enterprise key)
Project Server 2013 SP1 (enterprise key)
IIS configured for SharePoint Server 2013
The rest of the prerequisites

OS is Windows Server 2012 R2 Datacenter and I am setting this up just as a development machine.

How can I get Project Server 2013 (SP1) to be detected by Dynamics AX?

On a side note, is there also any way to get Visual Studio 2013 update 4 Ultimate working with AX? (Also not being detected by the checker).

Hi Brendan,

AX 2012 is not compatible with Project server 2013. There is support for Project server 2010.

You can read about the requirements in the System requirements guide: www.microsoft.com/.../details.aspx

There is support for a direct client integration on Project 2013, but not the server version.

Hi Brendan

Visual Studio 2013 is supported only with AX 2012 R3 CU8.

If you are installing AX 2012 R3 RTM, is necessary Visual Studio 2010.
