Segment by Voicemail in a Quick Campaign? (Telemarketing)

I've set up a Quick Campaign for a Marketing List that I've created for phone calls (telemarketing). The activities have been created but it doesn't look like there is a place to mark off if someone left a voicemail, only an option to complete the activity. I'd like to be able to signify that a voicemail was left so I can later segment out all the contacts that we left a voicemail for and try calling them again.

I'm also just looking for more information about telemarketing / campaigns / lists / and quick campaigns in Dynamics CRM Online in general I haven't found too much in detail. Any help or guidance would be very appreciated, thank you in advance!

    Hi Patrick,

You sound like you want to add a field onto the form 'Left voicemail'.

Log on as systems customizer or systems administrator.

Go to Settings>Customizations>Customize the system>Components>Entity>Phone Call>Forms>select and open the Phone Call Main form.

You will see the Left Voice Mail field in the list on the right hand side.

Click into the body of the form - in the section you want to add the field.  Then double click on the Left Voice Mail to move it onto the field.  You can move it around on the form using your arrow keys.

Double click on the 'Left Voice Mail' field (when it's on the form) and click on the formatting tab to change the format of the field to checkbox (from two radio buttons).

    Click on OK.

Save and then Publish your changes.

Refresh your screen and 'Left Voice Mail' should now appear on the screen.

Quick campaigns allow you to distribute one activity to your marketing list.

Have a look at these videos for an overview of the core campaign/mailing list functionality in CRM.  The core functionality hasn't substantially changed since CRM 2011.
