error when exporting Store database from HQ

Hi,

We have a HQ environment with 3 stores. We just want to add another store.

The HQ database is on a Windows Server 2008 R2 machine.

I have created a new store in HQ. Also have a template store database. I am able to connect HQ Administrator to the local RMS HQ database ok.

When I start to export the store database it is asking me for the store template database

Once I enter the details of the store template database it gives me an error.

"Run time error '2146233087  (80131501)': Failed to connect to server HQSERVER

Any idea why am i getting this error ?

How can I resolve this ?

    RMS version 2.0.1000

    Windows Server 2008 R2 - 8 GB RAM

    I am selecting the right database. It is allowing me to select the template database from the drop down list of databases. Than it gives me the error msg when I hit ok for the next step.

    What exact version of RMS?

    Are you positive you are selecting the right database at the right time,  its a little confusing.
