QS Rules ERROR after every Z REPORT?

Could anyone please help with a problem where having at our store?

If we run a z report at the end of the day, after there are sale on it, we always get this error:

run-time error '5'

Error #3709

Method '~' of object '' failed

..... if needed I can provide the rest of the error message.

If I just run a blank z report with no sale, this doesn't happen.

    Hi Nick,

    try to remove the Logo from Z report and generating the same. I remember similar error in windows 7 but it got fixed after removing the logo lines from Z report XML. However Which RMS version are you using and what is the OS.

    We are using rms version 2.0.1006 which I presume is up to date as it was just installed? Its also windows 7

    Would this still be the fix if its printing the z reports out, but is throwing this error after doing so?

    I was messing around with getting a custom logo to print, and did see it when I pulled up the z report under the receipt properties in store manager. So I went under options and at least set the logo back to the default.

    I notice the xml file for the z reports doesn't have a showlogo option. Do you want me to remove all the xml for the logo portion itself with a text editor? Just verifying what I should do.

    Yes, remove the lines related to logo and then try.

    I tried your fix, and it worked for the first z reports I ran, then after the next shift they came back.

    It almost seems like when I had close out if POS to change the logo and html status paths in admin, and to change the receipt, like it only worked that first time.

    So now i'm wondering if I was to at the end of the shift, close POS, open it, then z, maybe that is whats stopping the error? I won't be able to test this theory for a day or so... Any more input is much appreciated!!!

    Another thing...ever since this problem has  started I can run x reports all day long with no problems. It seems like when I run the z report, it prints the z report, then when it would do the offline part is when the error message is coming up

    I have confirmed that it seems if I restart the pos program before runnimg the Z REPORT, it wont show this error. Im wondering if it involves the customer receipt hyml display may be?

    Any Chance someone could help assist me with this? I am still having problems with this.

    If I restart the pos after a long shift, then run the z report it works fine. So what could be causing this???

    We use a customer display screen, could that have something to do with it?

    Ensure that your offline DB is properly configured and synchronization from offline to online is possible

    How would I test that? Just forcing it into offline, running a couple sales, and then force it back online?
