HITB Report not included in the Inventory Activity Reports List

After running the HITB Inventory Reset tool, the HITB report still is not displayed in the report list when going to Reports >> Inventory >> Activity.  The customer is on GP 10 sp4.  I have recreated stored procedures and rerun the Reset tool with no luck.  Any ideas?

Thanks,
Mark

That was it. Even in GP 2013. If you have any other user ( in  my case DYNSA ) assigned to that SY01401 5597 record, the report isnt available and the SEE30303 table does NOT populate. I assume this is only for customers that update from a version of GP where the HITB report wasn't activated yet or where you are trying to activate it in a prior version without using sa. Just simply change the record, log off and back in to GP & it should be there.

I had this problem before.  It had to do with a record in the SY01401 table.  There should be a record where coDefaultType = 5597 and UserID = sa.  In my case, the UserID was set to a different value than sa.  I had to delete the existing record from SY01401, then repopulate with 'sa' and 5597.  That solved it for me.  I still don't understand why that worked, but it may be worth checking into.  Use a test environment, first!

Check your dynamics.set file that you are using to launch GP. The dictionary may be in the application folder, but if the product is not included in the .set file - it won't be included when you launch GP.

I also landed in the same issue. After some research, what i did was,  unchecked Security options in 'Company Setup' Window. logged out then i was able to see that report in Inventory Activity window.  Hope it helps.

Does anyone on any computer see this report? That is very odd that you were able to set security for it but then not be able to see it. Just for the heck of it I would go into GP as 'sa', unclick security to not use it, save the settings and then immediately set rights to see it. If that does not work I would open a support case with MS.

Good suggestion.  I just tried but unfortunately reconciling security did not resolve the issue.  Thanks.

Have you tried reconciling security? Sometimes there is a lost record in there. Make sure you run it on a computer where you know the HITB code is loaded.

I would probably go to Microsoft then.   It is not a difficult report to roll out.   Have you logged out and back in and then check the report (for security to enable)?   Only other thing I can think of.

Yes the HTB5597 dictionary is included in the directory and I already checked the security and granted access to the HITB reports.

    Thanks,

Do you have the HTB5597.dic in the GP directory?    I would also double check security.   I am not sure which task it is stored under, but I would create a new one.  Under product HITB report.
