I'm looking to add more dimensions then just size, color, and style to a product...how can I configure that or what variant group can I use to achieve that? I'm looking to add Length, Thickness, Class type, etc...

Hi,

Are you sure that you won’t be using attributes instead of variants/product dimensions?

For example:

- Will these products have different barcodes for different classes of it, when all the other values the same?

- Will a product have different classes, while all the other values are the same (color size etc.)

- Will your users need to select the class value for every purchline they create for an item?

- Will you be calcuting costs for the different classes of an item?

These are what makes a product dimension useage decision. If you still want to go with product dimensions what you can use are just configuration, color, size and style.

Development will be needed for more dimensions.

Hi BMRUSER,

It is impossible without development. Steps are documented on docs docs.microsoft.com/.../inventory-dimensions and there are samples on GitHub, but it's a huge development and testing task.
