How do I change the number of decimal places in payroll benefit setup?

I have looked in tools-setup-payroll  and HR and cannot find where this would be changed.  We currently have 5 setup and I need 7 for it to calculate the new rate correctly.  I do not want to override the rate on several hundred employees, or make adjustments every month.

Thanks I did find where to change it finally, and found that it only goes to 5 places.  Microsoft are you listening that we need this changed?

    Hi Jan,

I know what you're feeling, because we faced the same issue somehow... In GP the maximum decimal places (in general, everywhere in the system) you can have is 5. Now in the HR module there may be occasions where you do want more and that exactly was our problem. In one of our company, the payroll is handled by an external company (because it's too small headcount to justify the inside process), and when we tried to match the hourly salary rate based on the annual income, then we were often off by up to 12% in the worst case when multiplying the numbers of annual hours (typically 2080 hrs) by the hourly rate, since the payroll company uses 7 decimals to do their calculation... We had to communicate with the firm and ask them to round there numbers to only 5 decimals and use the numbers that we have in GP in our HR module....
