When I try to change the unit of measure in the "Sell" tab of the item master data in Dynamics 365, I receive the following error message:

    Hi CU20031148,

The error when changing the unit of measure in the "Sell" tab (`0x80043B16`) means the unit isn’t in the item’s unit schedule. To fix this, go to **Product Information Management > Setup > Units > Units** and confirm the unit’s class (e.g., "Weight"). Then, in **Released Products**, ensure the item’s unit schedule matches this class. If not, update the unit schedule or add the unit to the correct class via **Unit Conversions**.

Also, check for dual-write sync issues in **Data Management > Dual-write** if you’re using Dataverse.

Retry the change after fixing it. Let me know if you need more help!

In what application are you updating the master data?
    D365 F&O or D365 Sales. I assume it's D365 F&O.

    Hi,
    Thanks all.

    Yes, it's D365 F&O.

@SatyamPrakash I confirmed the class, wrote the conversions, and on Dual-write, I reloaded the entity of the units and added the conversions, but the error persists.
