How to configure server-based authentication CRM and SharePoint on premise with ADFS

Hi,

I have some questions about Server-Based SharePoint Integration. I have Dynamics 365 version 8.2.3 on-premise and SharePoint 2013 on-premise. Two different companies can connect to CRM and SharePoint. I have ADFS enabled and those two companies have their own AD.

How does the whole Server-Based SharePoint Integration works?

How should I configure server-based SharePoint integration on premise with ADFS server?

Is there a way to enable the integration without User profile Service?

 How does User profile service syncs all the users from these two different AD servers?
