Filters on Standard Reports

Posted on by Microsoft Employee

Hello,

Is there a simple way to add filters to standard reports?

For example, I am running "AR Batch Register - Summary", but I want to see only the batches that have a status of "U".

We are on MS Dynamics SL 2011. I can just export the report into Excel and sort, but would like a way to filter at run time.

At this writing, I don't have access to Crystal Reports or FRX, just the standard reports.

Thanks.

You can use the Select tab to apply a filter - use <f3> to see the available fields - in this case probably Batch.Status.

Then Save as a template that can be used in the future.
