Dear All,

How we can apply auto charges on return product in MPOs like we can apply on sales in MPOS through auto charges line level.

I want to reverse charge on product return. e.g.

on sales

Product sale price = 200

Auto charge apply on product wise= 15

Total Sales price of product = 215 ( this amount charge from customer)

Due to some reason customer returned the same product that sold for 215 previously, but  MPOS showing return amount 200  on return transaction (without taking care of charges at time of sale). MPOS should show amount 215 instead of 200.

how this is possible. any help in this regard.

I have the same question (0)

There are a couple of things you should check.

Firstly there is a Commerce parameter - Refund shipping charges. This may paly a part if the original auto charge is a shipping charge.

Secondly, there is a setting on the Charge code record - Refundable. Check this is set to 'Yes' for your charge code.

    Hi Afazal,

Please check the link on LCS:

    fix.lcs.dynamics.com/.../

This is an intended design and Automatic return charges is not a concept we support in POS. We have “refundable” charges which means that upon returning, if you originally paid a charge, it can be refunded as part of the return.  But a charge specific to the act of returning (such as a restocking fee) would have to be manually added by the user in POS.

In addition, there is a parameter ‘Return charge’ in ‘Set up charges’ form, see a picture below:

But this is a function of Call-center and never implemented/supported in channels (POS).

We’ll add a feature request to the backlog for the same case, it makes sense to have it in the omni-channel as well. But this is only a plan for some future and I do not have any timeline for that.
