VBA and Grid Fields

Using vba to modify PO Transaction entry screen.  Wish to run some code when the user changes the Item Number field on this screen.   Right now the code runs fine but not until the user completes the entire grid line and either tabs or clicks off the line.   Is their a method to run this code when the user tabs off the Item Number field instead of waiting until they leave the grid line ?

Have you attached your code to a grid event or a field event? It sounds like you may have attached your code to a grid event.

God I feel like such a dork, yes of course thats the way to do it.  Am very familiar with that coding but for some reason did not think I had access to the field itself since it was in a grid.  Tks for pointing out the obvious.  lol

Hey you do ok.  I got started with this stuff by taking a VBA class from you about 5 years ago in Chicago.  See you in Atlanta.

    Great!

I will be working in the Hands On Lab during Convergence. Stop by and check it out! I will be the one wearing a poncho - I might even be wearing a hat :)

    Kind regards,

    Leslie
